It was happy to stay at the hotel "Ateneo Garden Palace". The hotel was not so far from Termini station(mother and I used to go there by walk within 5-10 min) and by #492 bus we could reach the city center easily. The room was quiet and clean. The bathroom was also clean and luxurious. My mother and I were satisfied with the breakfast. Staffs were exellent but they had little information of public transfortion and seldom smiled. Anyway thank you, venere.com, without you I couldn't have finished my travel happy (I reseved "Ateneo Garden Palace" through your site in the morning of the day when my mother and I had been out of another hotel in Rome )

"Lovely hotel with comfortable rooms and friendly staff. An oasis of peace! by TripAdvisor"

I stayed here for business so did not spend too long enjoying the garden or the lounge but it all looked very comfortable and attractive. the room was very comfortable, clean and quiet. I would come back on a weekend break if I had the chance. The restaurants around the hotel are very authentic and reasonably priced.

Very nice stay, next to S.Lorenzo quarter. Practical because near to Termini train station and. A bit far from center.

"Enjoyed our stay by TripAdvisor"

We stayed in this hotel for 3 nights as part of a Trafalgar tour. Our room was on the ground floor so had french doors out to a very private patio - nice to sit out in the evening. The room itself was very comfortable, clean and with a full bathroom with tub. Others were not so lucky having only a very small shower. The breakfast was the usual variety of pastries, cereal, yogurt, etc which is more than enough for me. The staff were very friendly even if they didn't all know alot of english - they had our keys out and ready for us before we even asked! There was only one computer set up with internet in the lobby but at least it worked - in other hotels we weren't so lucky. The hotel itself was conveniently located near the Termini train station where one could get on the Metro or catch a bus to almost anywhere in the city. There were also restaurants and grocery/wine stores handy. All in all we enjoyed our stay - this hotel had everything we needed.

"Loved it, we will be staying here again by TripAdvisor"

"Lovely Hotel in Rome by TripAdvisor"

We stayed in this little hotel for three days prior to a 12 night Eastern Mediterranean Cruise. It was a lovely hotel in a quiet Rome neighborhood. Walking distance to Termini Station, and not a bad walk to historic sites in Central Historic District. Close to ancient Rome city wall. It had lovely rooms, very nice bathrooms. Many rooms overlook central court, and have balconies with tables and chairs. There is free internet service and a computer to use in a nice large parlor/sitting room. Staff was very nice. Breakfast was served each morning in a very nice dining room, and was excellent. Our stay here was pleasant and comfortable, we'll choose to stay there again, and will tell others about it. We ate in a very nice restaurant directly across the street, the food and service was excellent. The Price of the Hotel was also quite reasonable at 151.00 euros a night double occupancy.

"Very nice hotel to stay by TripAdvisor"

Third time in Rome. This is by far the best hotel. Big and comfortable rooms, lovely courtyard , great terrace where to have breakfast, lovely and helpful staff. And the owner Ms. Anna ... such a lovely, charming and full of attention lady If you want to feel at home in Rome this is the place to stay Richard

Ottimo rapporto qualitΰ/prezzo.

"Quiet hotel in a big city by TripAdvisor"

I seem to collect quiet hotels and this is one - its fundamental to know that after a hard day touristing or conferencing then you'll get a good nights sleep. This hotel is close to the station - 10 minute walk - and was perfect for the Conference I had to attend last week. Price 130 euros for a queen size bed.Found staff were alert and quick to please - not always easy to find in Italy I must say. Internal garden looked very pleasant for a drink, chat or email session. I was only there briefly but the WIFI worked fine and the breakfast room is a cheery glassed area on the 4th floor - not much of a view - it looks over private flats and houses. There were a couple of homeless in the park out the front but really harmless. For tourism you will need to use public transport to get to sites

"If you go here you will have a great stay! by TripAdvisor"

Wow! What a place! We had been looking forward to the Rome part of our tour so much and this hotel did not let us down. Good location, friendly staff, big rooms and even a garden space to enjoy a drink in the evening. The breakfast is served on the top floor terrace, from where you have a great view. I would be more then happy to come back to this hotel again!

" by Venere"

Everything was ok, the service was good, the room was spacious and clean. Breakfast was generous and the hotel is really nice. Perhaps the surroundings are not exactly in a very nice area of the city, but can be appreciated by people who need to be close to the Termini Rail Station.

"the best place for a romantic week-end by TripAdvisor"

I spent a week-end in Rome with my partner and I had the pleasure to stay in such a cosy hotel. Our room (312) was very big with a window overlooking a quiet and beauiful courtyard. Staff was extremly helpful and in particular I would like to thank Valentina who went over her way to help with all the requests we had. Hotel has not restuarant but there are plenty around so you should not be worried for that Very well connected with public transportation. Rich breakfast served on a beautiful roof garden Mike

" by Venere"

But if you want to try restaurants and pubs where the locals go, then you'll enjoy the San Lorenzo neighborhood. And you'll also get a much better room for the same money. The superior rooms are a size that you'll hardly find in Rome for this price, and, in general, the hotel has a well kept, modern and clean look as far as furnishing and bathroom fixtures. The venere web site has a problem though: it does not let you specify double with two small beds vs. "matrimoniale" (one big bed). I wanted a matrimoniale but ended up with a reservation for a room with two twin beds (in the end, they were able to accomodate my request when I showed up, but the reservation was inaccurate).

"Good hotel by TripAdvisor"

I liked the hotel. The first night we had a room with balcony, however the airconditioning was broken so we asked for another room. This room was also large and very nicely decorated. The hotel is about 10 minutes walk away from Termini station in a local area. The area around the station is not the best area of the city. But we never felt unsave. Breakfast was fine, rooms are very clean and nice. Rome was fantastic but somewhat inconvenient to get around to the main tourist sites in Rome from the hotel. If you need to go back to the hotel during the day I would not recommend it to you. But if you only need the hotel to sleep. It's a good hotel.

"Oasis of calm with easy access to all that is Roman by TripAdvisor"

We stayed for four nights to attend a Conference nearby. For us then the location was perfect, just a few minutes walk. For sightseeing, we found it great – once we had found the shortcut through the tunnel under the Termini main station. We booked the hotel partly as it was the chosen one for conference delegates, and also because not knowing Rome it seemed reasonably priced and in the right area for our convenience We found the hotel comfortable, if basic. Our double room was 150 euros (with a conference discount). It was small but perfectly adequate. We were delighted to find a private foliage covered balcony through the double French windows, complete with table and two chairs, overlooking a small, tree covered private square. Furnishings were adequate and included a mini fridge. (We already knew via this site that there were no tea and coffee making facilities, so our trusty travel kettle came into its own, and the fridge kept milk etc chilled.) The room was clean and cleaned during our stay. The bed was, fortunately, very comfortable. I was able to access the wi-fi, and also the staff assisted me to use (foc) the downstairs public computers to check in online and print off our boarding cards. (always good that is!) The front desk staff when I arrived spoke very little English, but we managed between us, and they appreciated our trying to speak Italian, even if only the basic civilities. Continental Breakfast is served in a fourth floor conservatory type room, with trees and plants abounding, which we found very fresh and pleasant in the mornings. We were particularly impressed by the quietness of the area, and slept soundly, some colleagues staying in cheaper facilities had much noisier experiences. The Hotel doesn’t have its own restaurant but there are several small family owned trattorias within 5 minutes walk, where we had delightful meals, with plentiful local wine, and very cheap bills.

"Fantastic hotel with faultless service! by TripAdvisor"

My husband and I stayed in Rome for a couple of nights for our wedding anniversary - and what a gem, we discovered! The rooms were lovely, spacious and extremely comfortable. The staff were outstanding and couldn't have been more helpful or accommodating - they really made our stay special. We will definitely return.

"L'hotel θ una bella struttura by TripAdvisor"

Bel bagno e pulizia perfetta

Hotel a 10 minuti a piedi dalla stazione Termini e quindi dalla metro. Bellissimo hotel, pulito e tranquillo.

Het hotel is erg schoon en netjes. Ruime kamers met goede bedden. Ontbijtbuffet was erg goed, heerlijke koffie.

"Great location, great staff by TripAdvisor"

Ok, so back in Rome again! And this time we got it right! Stayed at the hotel for 3 nights and what a little gem we found! And finally a room where we both fit in together. We even had a little private pateo where we sat one of the evenings. This hotel has it all as far as I am concerned. Location; walking distance from the central station and easy to get to all the main attractions and shops. It is in a quiet street so no noice at night. Very friendly staff that helped us a lot when we had to spend the first two days trying to get my suitcase back from Airfrance! Breakfast: better than most ones I had in Italy. We really enjoyed our stay.

" by Venere"

Actually everything was fine.We have been picked up at the Fiumicino and dropped to the property (transfer has been ordered in advance) There we were already awaited by night service and have been taken to our room. The standard room looks a little bit small but it has an entrance to the garden (at least at the ground floor). IMHO a good price/quality relationship. We enjoyed our stay at this hotel.

"A very good compromise by TripAdvisor"

My husband was attending a conference at the University Sapienza for a few days. I was on my own to tour the city. The desk help was very knowledgeable with directions and recommendations. The breakfast area was lovely but the variety of choices was not plentiful. Again, the service personnel were helpful. The neighborhood was convenient to the University but not to tourist areas. This was ok. I took a lot of buses. The TV only offered News in English. There was WiFi, but worked only 50% of the time.
