Das Hotel mit einem lauschigen Atrium steht für römische Verhältnisse an einem ruhigen Ort, (zu Fuss etwa 12. Min vom Bahnhof Termini entfernt, am Abend etwas einsam). Das Zimmer war sauber, eher klein, dafür war das Badezimmer komfortabel und funktionell. Geschätzt haben wir das Frühstücksbuffet und allgemein das freundliche Personal. Das Ateneo Garden Palace können wir weiter empfehlen.

Stayed at Ateneo Palace hotel in december 2012 with friends. The rooms and bathrooms we had were very clean and spacious. Adequate-size elevator to rooms. The buffet-style breakfast on the roof garden was italian coffee, capuccino, bread, cereals, eggs and ham. Location is very convenient to reach the Termini Station, very close to the Metro Station Termini. I definitely recommend.

We stayed for four nights to attend a Conference nearby. For us then the location was perfect, just a few minutes walk. For sightseeing, we found it great – once we had found the shortcut through the tunnel under the Termini main station. We booked the hotel partly as it was the chosen one for conference delegates, and also because not knowing Rome it seemed reasonably priced and in the right area for our convenience We found the hotel comfortable, if basic. Our double room was 150 euros (with a conference discount). It was small but perfectly adequate. We were delighted to find a private foliage covered balcony through the double French windows, complete with table and two chairs, overlooking a small, tree covered private square. Furnishings were adequate and included a mini fridge. (We already knew via this site that there were no tea and coffee making facilities, so our trusty travel kettle came into its own, and the fridge kept milk etc chilled.) The room was clean and cleaned during our stay. The bed was, fortunately, very comfortable. I was able to access the wi-fi, and also the staff assisted me to use (foc) the downstairs public computers to check in online and print off our boarding cards. (always good that is!) The front desk staff when I arrived spoke very little English, but we managed between us, and they appreciated our trying to speak Italian, even if only the basic civilities. Continental Breakfast is served in a fourth floor conservatory type room, with trees and plants abounding, which we found very fresh and pleasant in the mornings. We were particularly impressed by the quietness of the area, and slept soundly, some colleagues staying in cheaper facilities had much noisier experiences. The Hotel doesn’t have its own restaurant but there are several small family owned trattorias within 5 minutes walk, where we had delightful meals, with plentiful local wine, and very cheap bills.

I have stayed at this hotel many times, it was found by my daughter who lives nearby. The staff are very welcoming and helpful and have always been very accommodating to me. There are lots of good restaurants in the area, great beautican oppposite and it is a convenient, quiet base. It is also really good to come to a hotel that does not feel like a chain, where the staff are the same and recognise you when you come back.

Ottimo albergo sia per la posizione che per la sistemazione ed i servizi offerti. Il prezzo è¨ assolutamente caro ma è tutta Roma che negli ultimi anni ha avuto un impazzimento dei prezzi che non si trova in alcuna altra città del mondo.

Staff were very accommodating and friendly. The room was very large, bigger than I've had at other hotels and impeccably clean. The hotel is ideally located for sight seeing and only a stones throw from the station. I'll definitely be back when next in Rome! Thank you!

Trovo l'Ateneo Garden Palace come ottimo hotel per le mie esigenze di lavoro. Elevato standard di qualità e di servizi in rapporto ad un costo di soggiorno tutto sommato non così elevato per una struttura 4 stelle ubicata in una posizione centrale di Roma. Quello che apprezzo di più sono, oltre all'ampiezza delle camere e dei bagni, sono gli spazi comuni ed il magnifico roof garden dove viene servita la prima colazione. Dimenticavo di fare un accenno all'incantevole giardino. Molto apprezzata anche la connessione wi-fi gratuita.

Abbiamo deciso di passare tre giorni da tempo desiderati. Bella Roma ma ancor meglio il silenzio quando si è sposini. Il profumo dei fiori dal giardino è inebriante! It was happy to stay at the hotel "Ateneo Garden Palace". The hotel was not so far from Termini station(mother and I used to go there by walk within 5-10 min) and by #492 bus we could reach the city center easily. The room was quiet and clean. The bathroom was also clean and luxurious. My mother and I were satisfied with the breakfast. Staffs were exellent but they had little information of public transfortion and seldom smiled. Anyway thank you, venere.com, without you I couldn't have finished my travel happy (I reseved "Ateneo Garden Palace" through your site in the morning of the day when my mother and I had been out of another hotel in Rome )

Wow! What a place! We had been looking forward to the Rome part of our tour so much and this hotel did not let us down. Good location, friendly staff, big rooms and even a garden space to enjoy a drink in the evening. The breakfast is served on the top floor terrace, from where you have a great view. I would be more then happy to come back to this hotel again!

I stayed here for business so did not spend too long enjoying the garden or the lounge but it all looked very comfortable and attractive. the room was very comfortable, clean and quiet. I would come back on a weekend break if I had the chance. The restaurants around the hotel are very authentic and reasonably priced.

Hi , I often travel for business and therefore I consider myself a very demanding customer. I was pleasently surprised by the standard , the cleanliness of the hotel. I know Rome pretty well and it is very difficult to find in the centre , where the hotel is located, such a quietness . The hotel has a beautiful Staff are very nice, always with a smile and make you feel at home. There is no doubt that from now on I will always ask my company to be hosted there

Bella struttura con ottimo servizio, a circa 1 Km dalla stazione Termini è comunque ben servito dal centro città (NB: autobus n.492). Anche la piazzetta antistante è carina e tranquilla.

I & a friend stayed in this Hotel for 3 nights in September following a Trafalgar tour . The hotel staff are extremely polite, & willing to help eg happily printed out our boarding passes. Free Wi Fi & available hotel computer a bonus .Rooms are clean, reasonably spacious for Rome , we had a ground floor room with access to the lovely courtyard .Breakfast served on the roof garden area was moer than adequate plus great eating area .Easy taxi ride into the centre of Rome { did not use station } Area surrounding Hotel run down , but this is not reflected in the Hotel . Magic litte cafe /bistro turn rt outside Hotel door walk round the corner & situated next to fruit shop .Asked if we could order food to take away because of feeling unwell from a heavy cold !! no problem anything on the menu can be taken away . One part of the order we were told would take 10mins to cook vegetable dish , returned in 10mins not ready waiter apologised ++ , & then brought out 2 glasses of champagne for us to drink whilst waiting !!! , bill came to 20 Euros for fresh beautiful food & two Italian beers , cannot ever imagine treatment like this in Australia ,would be lucky with an apology . ! Hotel happy for take away food to be eaten in the courtyard garden . Happily stay in this Hotel again .

E' un albergo a 4 stelle alle spalle della stazione termini ma fuori dalla zona rumorosa. Pertanto molto comodo sia in arrivo per lasciare i bagagli sia per gli spostamenti durantela permanenza. Buone e molto funzionali le camere, ottima la colazione e tanta gentilezza da perte del personale, in particolare la sig.ra Valentina. Sono ospite di questo albergo da oltre un decennio sia per motivi di lavoro che di vacanza e ci ritorno sempre con entusiasmo per i servizi offerti, per la posizione e per il rapporto qualità prezzo.

Third time in Rome. This is by far the best hotel. Big and comfortable rooms, lovely courtyard , great terrace where to have breakfast, lovely and helpful staff. Hotel is not in the center of the city just outside the wall but near the station. this is the second time I stayed in Rome. the hotel provides good breakfast. And the room location is very quite. room is big. good value/price ratio.
